Photography has been part of my life for many years, but somewhere along the way I realized I wasn't simply taking photographs.
I was preserving stories.
The smile a mother gives her daughter.
The confidence of a high school senior stepping into the next chapter.
The excitement of an engagement.
The quiet strength of a woman who has lived a beautiful, complicated life.
The way a grandfather looks at his grandson.
Those moments matter.
They're the moments we someday wish we could step back into.
That's why I love creating photographs that feel natural rather than forced. My sessions are relaxed, filled with conversation, laughter, and often a little adventure. Some of my favorite images happen between the poses—when people forget about the camera and simply become themselves.
People often tell me I have a calming presence.
I think that's because I'm genuinely curious about people.
I want to know what makes you laugh.
What makes you proud.
Who you love.
Because those things have a way of finding their way into a photograph.
Photography has also taken me into some unforgettable places—from photographing families in neighborhood parks to floating thousands of feet above Texas in a hot air balloon. Whether I'm creating portraits, branding images, senior sessions, or documenting one of life's biggest milestones, every session begins the same way:
